How do I change my password?

by Dean Nottingham Follow

Your password is typically set by your home institution or organisation who have subscribed to the AAF (for example, the University of Queensland).

For a user who is a staff member or a student of an institution or an AAF-subscribed organisation
Use your institution's local Service Desk to assist you with changing your password. You will be able to log in via the AAF as soon as the new password takes effect (usually immediately).

For a user who is associated with an institution or organisation, and is NOT a staff member or student but uses the Virtual Home Organisation (VHO)
You will need to contact your local Service Desk or Identity Provider (IdP) administrator to change your password. You will be able to log in via the AAF as soon as the new password takes effect (usually immediately).

If your account was set up using the Virtual Home Organisation (VHO), you can change your own password via this link: https://vho.aaf.edu.au/lostpassword/start
