Can I create a username for a user I've just added to a Group?

Much like any large web service, users choose their own username as part of the account finalization process they undertake once clicking the link shown in the invitation email. There is no option to set this for them. By doing this we hope usernames are more memorable and cut down the support overhead that was previously encountered by forcing usernames such as "ACME-john15"
