If organisations are planning maintenance of services connected to the federation, they may notify the AAF of the outage details at support@aaf.edu.au. Based on severity or impact to users, the AAF may post an outage notice on its pages.


The following details are illustrative of a maintenance notice.

  • IDP/SP Name:

  • Start time:

  • Expected outage duration:

  • Affected services:

  • Contact person/group:

  • Reason for outage: upgrade/issue/standard maintenance

  • Permanent modifications/effects arising from any change:
