If you are an Organisation, represent an Institution or a third party which provides the educational sector with products and services or are involved within the Identity Management sector, you may be interested in becoming a member in some form or capacity to the Australian Access Federation.

In addition to being a Subscriber, a Member gives you the right to participate in meetings of AAF Inc. and to have input into how the Federation is run. Members also agree to be bound by the Australian Access Federation Incorporated Constitution.

Member eligibility:
AAF Enterprise subscriber
AAF Team subscriber

If your organisation would like to upgrade from a Subscriber to Member simply complete the AAF Membership Application form.

How to subscribe

Subscribing to the AAF is a fairly simple process. Firstly you need to determine which subscription plan suits your organisation’s needs, and then you need to:

  1. Determine eligibility
  2. Trial the federation (Test environment)
  3. Complete the AAF Subscription Form and email it to subscribe@aaf.edu.au
  4. Ensure your organisation complies with the Federation Rules.
  5. Pay your annual subscription fee
  6. Move to the Federation production environment.

Subscription plans

There are four plans to choose from, each with different allowances and fees. The plan you choose will depend on your organisation’s size and intended use of the AAF. This information is outlined on the Pricing page.

Trial Federation (Test environment)

If you would like to try before you buy, the AAF offers a Trial Federation where you can test and experiment with your services at any time without subscribing to the AAF. It is a great way to access and become comfortable with the technologies of the Federation.

For more information about getting setup in the Trial Federation, go to the AAF Knowledgebase.
